Known for their stunning renovations, Design Tech came to My Zen Studios to have their website renovated.  This site is built using the Joomla platform, with custom template designs.  All images are actual before and after pictures from jobs completed by DesignTech.

This site features a slideshow galleries and an e-commerce solution with a shopping cart that will process paypal, google checkout, as well as a standard merchant account payment gateway such as Authorize.net.

Condor Commercial had no interest in displaying current MLS listings for commercial properties; they only wanted to showcase transactions that they were currently or previously were involved in.  The client opted for the free extension COM Property, which is highly customizable, but eventually rendered the website vulnerable to hackers and malicious scripts.  Since the vulnerability has been discovered, the developers of the COM Property extension seem to still be unable to resolve the issue as they have not released an updated and secure version of the script.  Fortunately at My Zen Studios we have a team of very talented developers who were able to modify and customize the code to make it secure, and protect the website from future malicious attempts.

We chose Joomla as the Content Management System for this website.  Joomla is an ideal CMS because of it is highly extendable platform.  It combines a combination of CSS, HTML, PHP and MYSQL to create a highly flexible platform. Whether you want to showcase real estate listings, run an online shop, or blog, Joomla can handle it.  The extensions come in the form of components and modules.  To be able to create custom intake forms we used the ChronoForms module.  This site also implements some javascript to deliver the horoscopes that update daily and automatically.

Dany is an artist I met in Chicago, IL through another Esh (e-shh!) the singer.  I immediately loved his rhythmic lyrics and singing style and worked with him to compose and produce a few songs for him.  Here is one of my favorite songs we did together called, “Bender”  He had the lyrics ready, but wanted to give the song a different feel.  I used Reason 3.0 and Pro Tools to compose and produce this song.

When I began working on this track, I started out using Reason 3.0 to and the Drum Machine as well as the REX machine to create the beat.  I then exported the beat into Pro Tools LE (at the time I was still using Pro Tools), and added the strings using a MIDI keyboard.  Lastly I added a few guitar licks using my Cherry Red Epiphone Casino Semi-Hollow body electric guitar.  At this time I was brand new to the guitar so there was not a lot of variety in the guitar technique.

This is a demo vocal and version of the song.  The has not had a commercial release and is available for licensing.
